Position – Deputy Manager – SQA – Casting, Forging, Machining parts

Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Setting up quality systems at supplier end to deliver defect free parts
2. Work with Design and development team to prepare part inspection plan
3. Carry out PPAP for new development parts
4. Resolution of Parts Quality Problems, CAPA based Audits of BO Parts
5. Execute parts Quality Improvement based on feedback from manufacturing line, Goods Receipts Inspection and Field failures.
6. Working on Proactive measures and improvement drives such as zero defect manufacturing
7. Carry out supplier assessment for onboarding, regular process audits
8. Coordinate periodic supplier performance reviews and provide input/recommendation to reevaluate supplier status
9. Management of quality documents, Certifications, Audits, reports, trends as part of QMIS

Knowledge :

1. Should have hands on experience in handling supplier / manufacturing quality in an OEM / auto ancillary
2. Should be proficient in APQP / PPAP.
3. Should have knowledge about ISO /TS systems
4. Added advantage if knowledge of 6 Sigma / TQM & TPM
5. Should be expert on Soft skills – Word/ Excel, Power Presentation.
6. Knowledge about manufacturing processess and mfg toolings
7. Knowledge about materials & properties

Experience

• 3 to 5 years

Industry Preferred

• Automotive / Tractor / Auto Ancilliary / Farm Implements

Qualifications

• BE / B Tech , Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production Engg
