Qualification Required B.Tech/B.E. – Mechanical, Automobile, and Production Engineering.
Relevant Experience Required:
- 3-6 years in the OEM/Engineering Service Industry.
- Digital or Plant Experience or Both in assembly validation are preferred. (Both experiences preferred, but not mandatory). Candidate should have either Digital or Plant experience in Trim, Chassis & Final assembly (TCF)
- Knowledge of Digital/Physical fea sibility Study of Parts (Assembly requirements) and to find out the Design for Manufacturing/Assembly related issues.
- Know-how of Final Assembly line working and basic layout.
- Basic know-how on Assembly planning and Assembly sequence.
- Knowledge of Tig htening tool selection for different processes.
- Knowledge on plugs & grommets used in car.
- Basic know-how on Part Drawings and tolerance concepts.
- Basic Knowledge of Digital Assembly Software Tools such as CATIA, Teamcenter, etc
- Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis for assembly issues, ability to propose and implement countermeasures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Validate for assembly-related issues in the given part by cross-checking the assembly requirements, identifying the root cause of the issue and proposing Counterme asure.
- Confirm part validation with respective part drawings.
- Discuss Issues & follow up with respective stakeholders through Problem Management Tools and close identified issues within a given timeframe.
- Have regular sync. & feedback with the cross-functional Teams.
- Have regular sync. with counterpart physical Engineer in plant during hardware build to ensure there are no issues in vehicle build.
- Involvement in Project Sync’s. , cross-departmental working groups of the project with Counterparts from the early prototype phase to current series.
- Flexible learning (Language, on-job skills, etc).
- Good Coordination skills.
