You will be working as a Production Supervisor and will be part of the Electrification business area for the Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role, you will be reporting to Operations Manager and will be responsible for leading a team within a production unit or line in the execution of production processes to transform parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely, cost-effective manner.
Your responsibilities
- Leading capacity planning, resource optimization and area safety performance
- Identifying deficiencies in production, proposing improvements and overseeing their implementation
- Classifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements
- Working with HR Management to ensure that it is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
- Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams
- Guiding, motivating and developing less experienced team members to reach their potential
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 -4 years of experience in switchgear industry
- Good knowledge of Power BI, Power APPs and Python
- Knowledge and being familiar with 6S/Lean 6 Sigma
- Should be aware of latest digitalization trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
