Department/Function: Engineering
Main Responsibilities / Job Summary
- Execute Preventive maintenance jobs across the plant
- Carry out Breakdown maintenance as well as analyse the reason for failures as per the
directions. - Grievance handling of subordinates
- Ensure a high order of Housekeeping of machines
- Implement energy conservation projects
- Coordinate with the production, technical, and planning departments for a smooth workflow
- Plan and execute Improvement plans
- Maintain discipline on the shop floor
- Provide training to workmen
- Deploy and manage the maintenance crew of the section/zone
- Achieve profit centre norms
- Spares management
- Man management of the maintenance crew
- Assist in the implementation of projects and modernisation activities in coordination with D&S
section. - Maintenance of material handling equipment (MHEs) and lifting equipment across the plant.
- Knowledge of ISO 50001, IATF, ISO 14001& OHSAS Standards.
Qualification
- B Tech/BE – Mechanical with 3 to 6 years of experience in machine maintenance.
