Job Title: Executive
Location: Chennai Radial Plant
Reports to (Position): Associate Manager – Engineering
Department/Function: Central Engineering (Mechanical)
Purpose of the Job: Responsible for troubleshooting (Mechanical) breakdowns and improving equipment reliability and Safety in the tyre handling automation system
Major Responsibilities:
- Breakdown troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, countermeasure implementation & capturing in software (MaintWiz).
- To take up CLIT activities as per schedule in shifts
- BBS observation compliance
- Ensure 5S in individual zones.
- Participation in improvement activities like Kaizen, QCC and innovation programs
Skills:
- Preventive maintenance – mechanical.
- Basic knowledge in lubrication/bearing/shaft/gear/pneumatic & servo assemblies.
- Work at height safety.
- Basic maintenance of conveyors & robots.
Relevant Experience: 2-4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in leading process/engineering/automobile/tire manufacturing industries.
Educational Qualification(s): BE/B.Tech in Mechanical.
