Position – Asst Mgr – MQA Engine

Roles & Responsibilities
- Formulate a Quality audit plan.
- Conduct Process and Product audits.
- Sustain, Improve as well as resolve quality problems to reduce RPH and LPH. (RPH- Repair per hundred, LPH- Leakage per hundred)
- Identify, Design, Parts quality & process deficiency during Mfg. & conduct ORC for daily line problems to achieve quality targets.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to processes with SOP by periodic process audit, SPC & MSA studies.
- Drive multiple improvement projects such as QC Story, OIT, Kaizens etc. and contribute to revenue savings.
- Select measurement systems & evaluate proper usage to ensure quality.
- Understand 3D CMM operating, reports interpretation.
- Co-ordinate with Production, Plant Engineering, & other stake holders.
- Ensure calibration of instruments and equipments interpretation of results and initiating the actions.
- Analyze field complaints and ensure Zero CVL.
Experience
- BE with 2 – 3 years;
- Diploma with 3 – 5 years
General Requirements
- Product & Process Knowledge/ Analytical skills, Machining process knowledge, Drawing interpretation, Knowledge of statistical techniques like sampling inspection, knowledge of calibration of gauges & equipments
- Familiar with regulations related to Engine Emission norms
- GD&T
- Awareness of ISO/IATF16949, Process & product Auditing Skills, Presentation & MIS generation knowledge
- 7 QC tools, statistical tools
- Computer skills/APQP/FMEA/PPAP/SPC/ MSA
