Educational Qualifications

Diploma/B.E. Mechanical
Minimum years of experience – 4 – 8 years of experience
Nature of experience – OEM Auto / Auto Ancillary (tier 1) preferred , CAD : Proe/Creo , Catia & NX.
Competencies- Solid Modelling, Assembly modelling, drafting, GD&T

Knowledge of Driveline/Axle, casting, forging, sheet metal, standards.
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
Customer interaction, problem solving capacity.
MS-office (Word , excel, PowerPoint)

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Shall be able to create & understand workflow (EWO, SR etc.) in AWC Teamcenter PLM system
• Assist and lead root cause analysis of technical issues
• Provide technical support to customer during all phases of development including pre-sourcing, vehicle validation, product validation, vehicle start of production (SOP), and post-SOP
• Communicate all engineering and development issues as needed to internal functions ? Program Management, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Warranty, and Engineering Management
• Prepare and conduct technical presentations (Customer and Dana internal)
• Communicate all engineering and development issues as needed to Dana internal functions including but not limited to; Program Management, Sales, Quality, Warranty, & Engineering Management
• Working experience of cad tools NX & Catia V5 & Creo required
• Thorough understanding of ASME Y 14.5, GD&T, stack-ups
• Understanding of materials, heat treatment & driveshaft assembly process is required
• Working knowledge of Casting, Forging, Stamping, Sheetmetal & Welding processes is essential, plastic injection molding experience will be an added advantage
• Shall be able to understand & perform design, structural calculations related to driveline
• Hands on experience on Drafting, Assembly, and part modelling
• Strong experience applying systems engineering fundamentals. Working level knowledge of subsystem/component manufacturing/assembly methods and vehicle assembly; subsystem/component manufacturing/assembly.
