Key missions of the position: To achieve high level of performance in PPC
Responsibilities
- Preparation of master production schedule with respect to monthly manufacturing/sales plan.
- Responsible for all production planning and control production activities including machine shop and assembly.co-ordinate with purchase and manufacturing for achieving set manufacturing targets.
- Preparation of shortage list.
- Material follow-up with purchase department.
- follow-up for Drawing material and issuing to shop and assembly. Ensure that materials are drawn in-time with a view of keeping WIP to the minimum.
- Arranging materials against replacements. Reducing the time required to service replacements from 12 weeks to 6 weeks.
- Improve delivery adherence by coordinating with logistics/Factory production.
- Arranging and offering materials for RDSO inspection.
- Documents preparation and maintenance.
- Co-ordinating with purchase, marketing and inspection.
- Spares planning and kitting of spares.
- All shop related transactions with other departments should be through MOVEX & train people on MOVEX.
- Machine loading/scheduling and Capacity Planning in MOVEX.
- Minimize machine down time due to no load.
- Scheduling & sequencing of jobs on the machine to minimize set up losses & involve in implementation of KK pillar activities (TPM).
- Any other responsibility assigned from time to time

- B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Good academic record
Professional Experience: How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position?
- 1-2 years of experience in PPC

- Computer-Skill – Can work efficiently
- M3/ERP exposure – Can work efficiently
- Product knowledge -Basic knowledge must
- English communication-verbal and writing- To be good in writing and verbal
- Knowledge of PPC process/areas- Can work independently
Languages: English and Hindi-must be able to write, read and speak
