Job description

Global Repair Operation Support department is focused on receiving the defective DEF (Defective) items in the system and moving the items towards the repair site/vendor to enable the repair of the item. The Repaired (REN) item will be then worked with the service order creator for consumption. The major tasks revolve around the reverse supply chain on coordination from the turbine sites to the warehouse to repair the warehouse.

Responsibilities

The associate should be able to support the Repair Buying operation for regional local loops.
The associate should be able to support on the Buying operations in the region (Repair Buying), monitor, evaluate, and report vendor performances, and meet OTD targets.
Review the REN demand, and coordinate with the other SCM analyst on the availability of DEF (Defective)components towards repair.
Associate should also be able to predict the supply of REN(renovated) based on the availability of DEF and the repair lead time.
Associate should be a team player and should be able to work cohesively with people across the globe and across the supply chain.
Coordinate with respective sites to create DEF in the system as well as coordinate for DEF return to the repair center.
Coordinate with sites for using REN in order to improve the REN utilization, Savings and support on sustainable environment.
Propose for REN safety stock & follow-up for fulfilment of the safety stock in the respective sites.
Monthly/ Weekly performance reporting on the Key Metrics.
Bi-Weekly connect with Key stake holders in order to review the progress and discuss future actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering/Technology – Mechanical/ Production/ Automobile with 2~3 years experience in supply chain operations, procurement, buying etc
Additional Language Expertise – Spanish or German or Portuguese or French is preferred.
Multi-tasking experience in a fast-paced environment, completing work tasks with speed and accuracy in a detailed work environment.
Experience with process improvement methodologies and change implementation.
Experience in ERP (SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM).
Experience in Ticketing Solution (Service Now)
Ability to work with/manage documents on a SharePoint and Service now Knowledge Base Article is desirable.

Competencies

Supply Chain experience in Global environment, especially in Buying, Forecasting and Inventory planning.
Advanced Excel skills with experience in creating Macros.
Supply chain certification on APICS CPIM would be a added advantage.
Knowledge of SAP is a must.
