Part 1: Purpose of the Job

To manage the purchasing analytics and drive FMS actions

  • Responsible for accurate information in the Purchasing Database and PRISM.
  • Responsible to ensure that Purchasing procedures are meeting FTIL practise and in alignment with group FGP
  • To support the Purchasing Amount analysis and budgeting exercise for the site.

  • Reports solid line to Joint Director of Purchase and SCM

Part 3: Detailed Job Description – Roles and Responsibilities

Purchasing Database and PRISM and supplier management:

  • To ensure that SFA, SQR, NDA and tooling agreement are upto date and stored in PRISM
  • Reporting FMS scores on a monthly basis
  • Ensuring the purchasing procedures are relevant and updated in the Quality systems.
  • Reporting the purchasing internal controls and ensuring all audit actions are closed on time
  • Preparing the monthly report to HQ & site levels.
  • Communicate the supplier performance to all P and I suppliers.

Purchasing Analytics

  • Spend analytics across various BU
  • Spend analytics across different commodities and supplier panel category for 1Y and 3Y period
  • Responsible for reporting 3P-4P plan on a monthly basis
  • Responsible for reporting site level purchasing KPI

Supporting role ( from time to time)

  • Support the indirect purchasing activities ( RFQ, negotiate and PO action < approx Rs 500,000)
  • Engage in SISCO activities related to price increase /decrease.

People Management

  • Individual contributor.
  • Any other assignments given by the Management from time to time depending on the business situation.
