Job Overview:
TE’s Global Operations Support Team is seeking an experienced Trainer to deliver blended learning solutions (facilitator-led training & self-paced eLearning) for technical product, process and soft skill training to enable delivery of an Effortless & Consultative Customer Experience. In this role, you will also support coaching, calibration and remediation training for New Hires and Tenured Consultants. As part of the Global Operations Support team, you will work closely with colleagues across the network to execute the training strategy for Product Specialist, Inside Sales, Customer Care and Leader Groups. What your background should look like:

Required:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in facilitating consultative selling, product technical & soft skill training using a blended learning environment (e.g. classroom, eLearning & on-the-job training/coaching)
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering – (Mechanical/Electrical or related)
  • 2+ years of related business experience with technical proficiency in Salesforce & XANT (Playbooks), preferred experience with SAP
  • Solid understanding of Consultative Selling, Service Excellence and the delivery of Effortless Customer Experiences
  • Experience developing and delivering competency-based training solutions from needs assessment to training execution, certification, and continuous learning for advanced skill building
  • Ability to analyse training results, create trend reporting, track learning curve and recommend training solutions to close gaps
  • Maintain a knowledge repository through Standard Operating Procedures
  • Proficiency in English language to include highly effective oral and written English communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently & collaborate with diverse colleagues across a global network
  • Highly effective project, planning/organization skills as well as strong relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated drive for results with ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Scheduling flexibility to accommodate training facilitation and meetings based on the needs of the business

Preferred:

  • Previous Sales experience with a focus on Consultative Selling
  • Interest in continuous self-learning, targeting new technology and training techniques to drive Consultative Selling behaviours, Customer Service Excellence & meet the needs of today’s global workforce
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced competency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and eLearning development tools such as Storyline, Captivate or Camtasia
  • Mentoring new hires as a Subject Matter Expert & Buddy
  • Experience with One Note, SharePoint & Publisher (a Plus)
