Position Summary with Job Responsibilities
  • Design & CAD Modelling of BIW parts and Assemblies as per engineering guidelines and checklists.
  • Creation and Management of product data structure in PLM and ensuring BOM Quality.
  • To support the development of Design Standards & Carryover Strategy in line with the defined Technical Policy and Technology Roadmap for the Sub-Module (Upper Body Structure) and engineering of the Sub-Module (Upper Body Structure) for the projects in line with the standards.  
  • Create Technical Proposals for New Concepts & resolve of Technical Issues or designs to meet attributes.  
Education

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical

Work Experience

2 to 8 Years

Software:-
  • V5R25 Catia PLM systems with competent modeling abilities and knowledge of acceptable modeling practices
  • Understanding of the general construction of body structures, raw materials, sheet metal forming processes, assembly processes, vehicle and aggregate regulations that apply to body structures, test standards, and structural requirements (such as durability, static and dynamic stiffness, crashworthiness, sealing, corrosion prevention, etc.). GD&T, EPS, the NPI Process, and the Six Sigma Tools (DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and DFS). cost factors.
  • Tools: Working understanding of MINT3, RMDVV, and other internal systems. Analysis modules in CATIA, FTI, and VizVSA.
