For the railway segment, we are searching for an energetic and highly driven Engineer. He or she will be in charge of working on technical specifications and solutions for turnkey railroad projects including overhead catenary systems (FOCS / ROCS) from the first stages of pursuit to final contract negotiations and transfer to the execution team. He or she will participate in an interdisciplinary tendering team that will collaborate with the supply chain and commercial teams during the preparation phase.

Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs):

• comprehension of the requirements as stated in the tender documents.
• assistance in the creation of pre-bid queries and the submission of bids.
• Using software like Auto CAD or Micro Station, create the pegging plan, layout plan, sectioning diagram, and other drawings needed for tender submission.
• creation of a detailed bill of materials for the FOCS/ROCS overhead catenary system.
• good working knowledge of Micro Station and Auto CAD.
• Benchmark Sheet Creation for Quantities Comparisons
• Possibility of doing OCS calculations that may be necessary throughout the tendering process.
• Obtain the engineering manager’s approval before using the engineering assumption pack that includes the engineering outputs.

Experience & Education Required:

• 3-5 years of experience and a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering are required.
• Working knowledge of system integrators and railway and urban transportation clients.
• a solid understanding of the relevant design standards for the overhead system and the RDSO.
