PURPOSE:

Establish new Products by systematically working on Product Development Projects and set production systems to ensure sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable processes. Recommend practices and processes to achieve enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration of New Products and Projects & Process improvement activities across Inserts Production for PDP’s
Check feasibility of operations for new products and ensure availability of required resources and technology.
Establish process capabilities at all operations across Inserts for new products.
Follow up for timely completion and approvals from Sweden for all Grade approval and Test orders related with PDP and new products
Conducting follow-up meetings with Production teams and make project review reports.
Execute new projects for introduction / upgradation of new Technology or new process and products.
Investment analysis & payback calculations for new projects
Make budgeting for PDP’s related to consumables, resources, production hours, and regular follow-up in actuality. Communicate with the Business controller.
Support Production to define guidelines and set norms for various parameters like process control, health checks of machines, productivity & Quality measurements for new projects and Products. Establishing operating procedures for QEHS systems.
Identify critical operations for process improvement based on feedback from Production / Quality
Initiate OEE improvement plans for the effective utilization of machines and Equipment
Develop & Co-ordinate proper training programs related to PDPs and other identified needs.

COMPETENCIES

Expert in New Product Development Processes with the help of Statistical tools & Analysis.
Data Analysis through Different statistical tools.
Understanding the basics of Lean Manufacturing concepts
Good Hands-on experience in Product Industrialization.
Should be able to handle the projects individually
Worked on Robotics & Automation projects
Good Know how of I4.0 Concepts: RPA, IoT, ML, and AI
Project management experience including supervising the installation of an industrial Equipment
Knowledge of Quality Systems
Experience in New Production Launch
Project Management Skills
Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
Requires diverse knowledge and experience in own discipline and broadens the capacity
Solves problems, and analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment
Ability to communicate and translate complex information in an easy-to-understand format
Evaluate and use suitable methods, tools, and processes. contribute to sharing of best practicess within own area
