Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Implement productivity projects
2. Implementation of yield improvement projects
3. Implementation of cost saving projects
4. Implement planned lay-out changes
5. Plant Capacity Management
6. Monitor capacity utilization
7. Upgrade tooling management
8. Control of Product and Process related Documents
9. Improve process capability
10. Incorporate timely PCP/PFC/PFMEA/BOM/Routing changes for existing products
11. Ensure timely delivery of new products and Productionize new products
12. Comply with APQP/PPAP requirements
13. Prepare the relevant drawings for the new product
14. Identify and replace machines that are beyond repair
15. Identify New / Improved Technology for Valve Train Components
16. Knowledge of ISO 9000 and TS 16949 system requirements.
17. Knowledge of SPC and process capability studies.
18. Cycle time study and man-machine chart
19. Knowledge on LPS, TPM and TPS
20. Problem solving through 7QC tools, DOE, TRIZ, Shainin Techniques
