Position – Project Engineer

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assign responsibilities and mentor team members
• Prepare and coordinate the assigned engineering projects
• Perform overall quality control of the work and report regularly on project status with project manager
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies and specifications
• Maintain quality & on-time delivery
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Should have hands-on experience in Engineering Design in Oil & Gas Domain
• Should have extensive experience in Plant Layout and Piping Engineering
• Should have extensive experience in P&ID, Plot Plan and Foundation drawings
• Experience in Technical document writing and bid document preparation
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD, Navis works etc.,
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and standards
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
• B.E degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
