Job description
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering / Tech / Science
- Experience: 5+ years
- Domain: Transportation / Medical equipment / Automotive / Aerospace
Areas of Proficiency:
- Procurement, purchase, sourcing,
- Supplier communication & management
- RFQ handling & bid closure
Must Have:
- Strong knowledge of preparation of RFQ packages, Incoterms, specify terms & conditions
- Compares supplier quotes, understand the price variations & cost drivers, and a Supplier recommendation
- Strong negotiation with suppliers on price and bid closure time
- Expertise on RFQ’s floating, regular follow-up with suppliers, responding to supplier queries, and timely closure of quotes
- Expertise in working with different geographies, suppliers, commodities & internal stakeholders
- Analytical mindset
- Category management
- Knowledge of commodities such as Casting, machining & fabrication.
- Has good verbal & written communications skills
- Working knowledge in MS office
