RFQ preparation
RFQ float to the suppliers
Bid analysis
Support Commodity Lead in negotiations
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Strong knowledge on preparation of RFQ packages, Incoterms, specify terms & conditions
supplier quotes Comparison skills, understand the price variations & cost drivers and Supplier recommendation
Strong negotiation skills with suppliers on price and bid closure time
Expertise on RFQ’s floating, regular follow-up with suppliers, responding to supplier queries and timely closure of quotes
Expertise in working with different geographies, suppliers, commodities & internal stakeholders
Analytical mindset
Category management
Knowledge of commodities such as machining & harness
Has good verbal & written communications skills
Working knowledge in MS office
BE/Btech/BS in Mechanical
