Job description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work independently in SPM Design
- Support sustenance engineering activities –
- Conduct Why-Why analysis for field failure components
- Identify & implement cost reduction opportunities
- Cost reduction through design optimization, process optimization, material change etc
- Selection of commercial components like bearing, cylinders, sensors etc
- Knowledge of CAD customization/automation will be added advantage
- Good hand calculation abilities to support the design
- Support/Assist team members in design activities
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- 4-5 years of experience in designing of SPM
- Good knowledge of ISO standards
- Good knowledge of material selection, commercial components
- Good knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance stack up study, Form, Fit and Function
- Hands on experience in NX
- Focus on Quality and On time delivery
Desired Skills:
- Good Communication & mentoring skills
- Good project management skills
