How You Will Achieve It
- Coordination with CFTs in the execution of FAT/SAT/DQ/IQ/OQ and PQ of all relevant equipment
- Provide onsite support in start-up and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades to existing equipment
- Prepare specifications for process and packing equipment
- Prepare and ensure availability of working drawings for any activity performed at the site
- Prepare Equipment installation drawings and ensure the installation of the equipment as per the same
- Complete periodic inspections of the vendor’s site to check for the progress of manufacturing of the equipment
- Study and review standby facilities for critical sub-assemblies and addition of capital equipment on a long term basis for smooth operation
- Contribute to continuous process improvements initiatives
- Effective communication with the original equipment manufacturer to address/resolve the repetitive issues.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with Production to undertake Maintenance requests
- Attend to breakdowns, troubleshoot, and rectify basic issues in the shortest possible time
- Trend the breakdowns /concerns of the equipment and implement corrective actions to improve the reliability of the equipment.
- Supporting in new/expansion/improvement projects
- Execution of Spare Parts management
- Supporting for the required reliability initiatives at Site
- After Completion of Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance, ensuring all the data is captured in CMMS.
- Contribute to the completion of project milestones and organize own work to meet project task deadlines.
- The support Engineering team in planning and overseeing the preventative maintenance for filling equipment.
- Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order completion.
- Support maintenance work management and the installation, commissioning, qualification of equipment.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Manage all the utility documents and drawings and ensure all of them are sorted and archived properly.
- Ensure that supporting Good Manufacturing Practices (also cGMP) relevant documentation is generated and maintained.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Graduate / Diploma Engineer in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 4+ yrs of experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in reliability based maintenance practices
- Demonstrated ability to write and provide simple and accurate instructions
- Effective problem solving capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge or experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} environment
