PURPOSE OF POSITION

Provide Cross Functional leadership in delivering Project(s) baseline Scope / Schedule and ensuring a flawless launch

What You Will Do In Your Role

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead New product realization in delivering on commitments to customers exercising Product Development Process (PDP) while policing governance/compliance to customers’ requirement
Transforming/organizing data into clear executable Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) through coordination across multiple Molex functions/sites
Responsible for facilitating critical project milestone reviews/decision (especially change management during NPI) in order to mitigate project scope/schedule risks
Support the Project / Engineering manager in coordinating the development of project management plan and controlling project work
Responsible for developing the Project management plan, monitoring and controlling the project work & managing phase exits. Able to guide the team to work together to focus on what is really essential through the integration of processes, knowledge & people
Responsible for tracking the project performance and controlling the relevant project documents
Ensure compliance with all Molex policies & procedures in all related areas
Any other projects/work assigned by management

SPECIFIC AUTHORITIES:

Approve deviations in project scope, time & cost
Escalate & seek management support for project risks
Select the projects for PDP review meetings

JOB SPECIFICATION

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Engineering Equivalent area of study.

Other Technical/ Professional Qualification :

Involved in New Product Development Conceptualization to production in Automotive Field for Tier1 or 2 Supplier

Experience

3-5 years experience Project / Engineering role in electro-mechanical device & Automotive industry

Communication :

Effective written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas and exchange information clearly and concisely.
Interpersonal skills to effectively work with all level of stakeholders
Above average communication skills that demonstrate the ability to prepare and deliver concise and effective presentations to customers and Molex personnel
PC skills – MS Office, Office 365 / Onedrive, MS Project, Database Management, Excel Analytics
Personal Traits – Growth mindset, Action-Oriented & Proactive, Ability to build relationships

Special Skills

Knowledge of wiring harness manufacturing process(Preferred)
VDA6.X Knowledge / Experience ( German OEM )
