Job description

  • Selecting the appropriate pipeline materials and valve types for the applications is part of the sizing of pipes and valves.
  • The process of choosing a control valve includes datasheets and establishing its requirements.
  • preparing/producing deliverables for the installation of new mechanical systems or revisions to the mechanical systems of an existing power generating plant, such as process flow diagrams, P&ID, valve lists, line lists, and standard detail sheets.
  • creating datasheets and specifications, looking at the isometrics and isometric drawings, and looking at the pipe model.

After the onboarding training:

  • The candidate should be proficient with a variety of software programs, including AFT Arrow/Fathom for hydraulic calculations, SmartPlant P&ID, Navisworks for pipeline model assessment, and Autopipe for stress calculations.
  • To do engineering calculations and system designs, the applicant must be able to use their in-depth technical knowledge and connect to the training sessions provided.
  • The ideal applicant will exude confidence, be able to handle responsibilities, and cooperate with US allies.
  • The applicant must be able to work well with people from different teams.

Qualifications

  • The applicant must hold a mechanical engineering B.E., B.Tech., M.E., or M.Tech. degree.
  • The candidate should have 0–1 years of work experience.

  • English language proficiency is required, as are outstanding oral and written communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
