Position: Deputy Manager – Transmission Assembly

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:
As a Deputy Manager (DM) – Transmission Assembly, you will be responsible for:
- Transmission Assembly Oversight:
- Managing and supervising the transmission assembly processes to achieve high efficiency and quality outputs.
- Ensuring seamless integration with the machine shop department for smooth workflow.
- Process Optimization:
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Applying lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Resource Management:
- Allocating manpower and resources effectively to meet production targets.
- Managing inventory to ensure the availability of required materials and components.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforcing adherence to safety regulations and quality standards in the assembly process.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational and industry-specific guidelines.
- Collaboration:
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve assembly processes.
- Coordinating with quality assurance teams to maintain product standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- Additional certifications in quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles are advantageous.
Experience:
- 3-10 years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in the automotive or agricultural machinery industry.
- Hands-on experience with transmission assembly processes and machining operations.
Industry Preferences:
- Prior experience in automotive or agricultural machinery manufacturing.
- Familiarity with processes related to tractors, farm equipment, or heavy machinery.
General Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficiency in CAD software for design interpretation and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
