Job description

Responsibilities & Key deliverables ( Techno commercial Domain )

Engine components – Product/Part Development Engineer
Engine Proprietary parts Domain knowledge
Knowledge and experience in Engine After Treatment System ( EATS, Catalytic Convertor- Catcon, Metallic and Ceramic Substrates, Coating, Loading precious metals technology for Green Emission Technology )
Development of parts as per the APQP methodology.
Budget preparation for Part and Project
Project management, project tracking, and execution capabilities.
Knowledge of Commercials is required for various manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of proto development processes with commercial acumen.
Tooling cost estimates for prototypes and final toolings.
Knowledge of DVP is required for the systems & System Validation cycle
Right Process finalization ( FTG ) with the supplier to meet project deliverables
Capacity assessment and analysis for various processes
Conduction Cycle time study and R@R demonstration to meet Capacity requirements
Conducting assessment for New suppliers and existing Suppliers for Risk evaluation, Gap Audit, System and Process sustainability
Process Estimation for pricing of New parts and Commercial synthesis to support Vendor selection
Supplier upgradation through technical assistance to the supplier, including training, counselling, guiding, etc.
Preparation of MIS through MS Project, MS Excel, M S PowerPoint, and DWM to report to Management
