Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Manage a set of dealerships and dealer teams to achieve the business parameters like volumes, market share, collection, deliveries, spares part sales, etc.
  • Inquiry generation and management (CDMS.New dealership development along with Channel team.
  • Ensuring viable distribution network by appointing dealers, sub-dealers for appropriate market coverage.
  • Implementation of specific incentive schemes for dealers.
  • Participate in the development and/or execution of field activities.
  • Ensure availability of trained manpower in adequate quantity at dealerships, developing them for pre-sales and sales processes, new product features/modifications.
  • Executing company strategy at the dealership along with local-level sales promotion campaigns, product launches, etc.
  • Scrutinize the Financial Health of the dealer.
  • Liaison with financial institutions/banks for exploring new avenues for retail financing of products.Track the competitor activities, capture feedback on the performance of competitor (and our) products

  • Diploma in Engineering; Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical; Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile; Bachelor of Engineering in Agriculture; Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical; Bachelors of Technology in Automobile; Bachelors of Technology in Agriculture; Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical; Diploma in Engineering in Automobile; Diploma in Engineering in Agriculture

General Experience

1 to 5 years of relevant experience in Sales

Critical Experience

  • 1 – 5 year Relevant Sales Experience.
  • Exposure to 1 – 2 diverse markets. (Different States.
  • Should have worked in Rural Markets.Basic understanding of Farm Industry, Tractor, and Implements

Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

To work on Farm machinery projects like combine harvesters, sprayers, Balers etc:

  1. Be an aggregate owner and understand the functional requirements of product and design aggregates. Deliver first-time-right design and high-quality engineering drawings.
  2. Work on continuous improvement projects: Attend regular ECN meetings. Understand design issues, complete DFMEA, and develop effective solutions to overcome field failures.
  3. Actively participate in VAVE initiatives. Deliver cost reduction against defined target value and timelines.
  4. Participate in CFT reviews and be productive in terms of closing all the tasks assigned in these reviews.
  5. Support sourcing team by giving effective solutions to suppliers considering cost and manufacturability.
  6. PR Releases for Proto Part Development and Coordinate with vendors to develop proto parts of respective aggregates.
  7. Release Bill of material of new and modified design.
  8. Proto Shop Management

Experience – 3-5years

Industry Preferred – Tractor, Farm Implements


  • BE Mechanical
General Requirements
  • Structural design – Chassis, axles, operator platform, etc.,
  • GD&T
  • Linkage design – Kinematics.
  • Ergonomics study.
  • Knowledge of farm machinery products.
  • Understanding of various crops and their harvesting requirements.
  • Good CAD skills, preferably NX.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS EXCEL.
