Position – Deputy Manager FMEA Moderator

Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Autonomous planning, implementation, and moderations of project-based FMEA
  • Adapting the standardized FMEA to customer projects (DFMEA, PFMEA & Interface FMEA
  • Creation of reusable FMEA modules
  • Coordination of interdisciplinary teams (testing, calculation, quality, logistics, etc)
  • Use of quality management methods during the development and production process
  • Securing the FMEA interface to the customer and supplier
  • Compliance with predefined methods and ensure the formal validity of the FMEAs
  • Ensuring methodological correctness (VDA) of FMEAs
  • Ensuring consistency between product D FMEA and P-FMEAs and FMEA interfaces to the customer
  • Validation and acceptance of supplier FMEA
  • Feedback of lessons learned from 8D during FMEAs
  • Documentation and archiving FMEAs using FMEA management tool
  • Tracking FMEA and updating FMEA timelines together with the project team
  • Preparing and handling of documentation related to Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
  • Training of FMEA methodology and software
Experience
  • Total 6-8 years engineering experience in automotive and 3 to 4 Years Experience in FMEA
Industry Preferred – Automotive Industry
Qualifications
  • BE/Btech or ME/MTech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
