Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- To chalk out product feasibility from Simultaneous engineering for vehicle assembly.
- To prepare a budget as per the instructions and guidance of seniors
- Stage-by-stage process planning for complete vehicle assembly.
- Front loading of data with the R&D team and getting it implemented. Lessons learned of old projects & Must & Wanted sharing with Engg. team and tracking for getting it implemented.
- Simultaneous engineering & Virtual simulation using software like 3D Experience, Catia, etc
- Conduct Virtual builds to check the Issues upfront based on the Packaging for Trim, CHassis & Final Line
- Addressing manufacturing concerns by establishing Ergonomics standards.
- Preparation of Process sheets and DCP documents
- Assembly fixture design, designing small tools using concept knowledge and sequence
- Developing Engineering Specification Test facilities & Smooth Ramp-up of the Required vol/shift

Education Qualification
- Degree ( Mechanical / Automobile/production), Preferred – Degree Engineer with relevant experience in Assembly line.

- Exposure to DCP documents like PFMEA, Control Plans, etc
- Knowledge of trends in New technology.
- Knowledge of the selection of torque tools for assembly lines.

- The facility, tools, fixtures planning, budget workout, procurement, and implementation for new Variant projects on vehicle assembly, New Variants introduction as per APQP. Design and establishment of a process for new products/models implementation at vehicle assembly.
- Workout budget requirement, FTG procurement, Installation, and commission for Product and process change management.
- Study and analyse all PCRN and PDRN to accept for implementation and close as per check sheet for respective shops.
- Ensure for DCP review as and when required and Process audit readiness for respective shop.
- Line Process Concerns, Field concerns, Quality concerns resolutions effectively and efficiently.
