Job description
- Efficient management of production operations of Gear& shaft line machining cell.
- Production Planning and sequencing to achieve daily production plan, for optimum output and daily schedule adherence.
- Manpower & machines/stages planning.
- Machining Process trouble shooting
- Responsible for tool cost reduction as per set targets
- Ensure quality improvements by reducing rework/ Rejection/ throwback
- Strong focus on “Daily work Management”
- Drive and implement management systems and initiatives such as TPM, 5s, KAIZEN.
- Good industrial relations to ensure harmonious work environment and maintain good ER and develop the skill of the associates.
- Maintain shop floor discipline and ensure adherence to safe working practices
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all levels and good housekeeping levels are maintained
- Regular interaction with SQA, PPC, Maintenance and Quality to deliver the Production and Quality targets.
- Ensuring system adherence under TS16949, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
- Responsible for process development and improvement in the existing processes for improving the Productivity, Quality, Delivery and reducing Cost with high customer centric approach.
Qualification – B.E /Diploma (Mechanical/Production)
