Job description
- 3 to 5 years on Design & development of mechanical parts and sub-systems using UG Nx for SEMI conductor Manufacturing Machines / SPM
- Develop, modify & release parametric 3D models, 2D Manufacturing drawings, MBD / PMI of designs including any mechanical routings as required in CAD,
- Perform GD&T and Tolerance Analysis
- PLM – Teamcenter
- Complete other engineering documentation if required connected with the design release
- Exposure to End to End Product Development – Concept, Detailed design, Prototyping, Testing, and Manufacturing
- Integrate mechanical and electro-mechanical components into subsystems and assemblies
- Exposure to basic DFMA analysis – Analyze and respond to issues found at supplier or manufacturing sites during manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test
- Perform system packaging and higher-level assembly modeling
- Perform interference analysis, Centre of Gravity, Mass calculations, and structural analysis of designs
- Experience in working with Material selection team, Design validation team, Thermal Engineering & Structural analysis
- Design and review designs per safety codes, SEMI Standards

Job description
Job Title: Design Engineer / Seating
Experience : 3-8 Years in Automotive, 2+ years in SEATING
CAD : CATIA V5 is must, 3DX experience preferredCATIA V5, Automotive Interiors & Plastics
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in automotive seating system and subsystem (Structure, Foam, Plastics, Mechanisms) design and development
- Ability to design Seating components including cushions, plastic covers, frames, back frames,s and mechanisms
- Design of Foams and Plastics in CATIA V5/V6
- Working knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements for seating system
- Good knowledge of seating systems and component manufacturing processes
- Experience in creating 3D designs and 2D drawings including manufacturing drawings
- Provide support to the new product development with the 1st-time-right mentality
- Participate in design review, review drawings, analyze tooling, and recommend improvements leading to increased productivity, quality, etc.
- Practices proper modeling techniques which allow part/assembly to be easily modified
- Awareness of Structural test requirements, CAE, etc.
- Knowledge of GD&T and its implications, Good in creating component/assembly drawings, etc.
- Independently prioritize the completion of tasks and resolution of issues to ensure compliance with program deliverables
