Job Description:
- Compiling and delivery of crane-specific customer documentation to both internal and external customers with crane or component delivery.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and creating Operator’s Manuals, Owner’s Manuals and Documentation Set
- Timely completion of all assignments relating to technical documentation
- Documentation project outcome (quality, cost, and schedule) are in given targets
- Co-operation with project manager, front line and different technical teams.
- Understanding of delivery process and documentation delivery according customer requirements.
- Prepare document schedules and develop documentation plan for projects and maintains records
- Attends product meetings, organize meetings as required
- Proactive approach to questioning technical team and managers to clarify technical issues
- Ensure that document packages are technically accurate, user-focused, and free from errors by applying group processes, procedures, and standards
- Utilization of standard documents and solutions, and actively developing them in cooperation with document management & development
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Excellent written and spoken English– other language skills are a plus
- Previous experience of compiling documentation packages (for example, requirements for the various media: CD/DVD, HTML, paper deliveries)
- Should have strong technical documentation experience in engineering industry: 1 – 4 yrs. Preferably in Heavy Machinery Industries, Automobile Industry or Aircraft Industry
- Knowledge of PDM and ERP applications
- Technical background – ability to understand complex crane deliveries
- Work experience on technical documentation in engineering industry
- Initiative and good team work skills
- Experience in producing structured documentation
- Knowledge of XML and DITA
- Knowledge of CorelDraw
- Pay attention and focus on small engineering details
- Active communication skills and Accurate way of working
- Ability to cope with many delivery projects simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of PLM and ERP systems
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with a globally distributed team.
- Ability to handle project individually
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Technical background – ability to understand complex crane deliveries
- Awareness of 14001 and 45001 requirement
