Services and Solutions R&D unit is responsible for developing digital services at KONE. It’s the development engine for our Digital Services such as KONE 24/7 Connected Services , Residential Flow , Office Flow and Partnership Ecosystem .
Field Engineering within Services and Solutions R&D is responsible for developing and delivering global services and solutions for KONE maintenance business. Our solutions make sure that all the equipment in our service base is safe to use and maintain in an efficient manner. Above all our maintenance solutions provide peace of mind for our customers in terms of equipment performance and availability. We are also actively engaged in defining and building the future of KONE maintenance enabled by new digital technologies and data analytics.
As Maintenance Development Specialist you are responsible for ensuring that all People Flow Solutions equipment and components can be safely and efficiently maintained, maintenance instructions are in place and the relevant maintenance tools (both physical and digital) are developed. You also design needed architecture and requirements for future products’ and services’ maintenance utilizing industry leading methodologies and technologies. You make sure that the requirements are implemented consistently in the development projects in line with our Design for Maintainability process and criteria. As a bonus, depending on your background and interests, you could also be a key contributor in our development activities in innovating the future way of doing maintenance driven by the digital opportunity!
In order to succeed in this position, you should have experience in developing maintenance solutions and methods preferably for both mechanic and digital products. You could also be knowledgeable on digital technologies such as SW development, IoT & cloud platforms, and data analytics which would be highly regarded. Collaborating with and influencing people is part of your DNA. You are a real team player with the capability to network widely with KONE people. You are able to receive input and feedback from various stakeholders and turn them into requirements for development. You understand that safety is the number one priority in our maintenance and hence can assess the risks related to the fieldwork. Furthermore, experience from real maintenance operations in the field as well as domain knowledge on elevators would be considered a plus. - B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical) Degree with 5-10 years of the overall experience.
- Min 3-5 years of sound experience in the Elevator Maintenance area.
- Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication in the English language in terms of reading/Write and Speak.
- Collaborating with and influencing people is part of your DNA.
