Position – SR. ENGINEER SALES AND SERVICE – DRY GAS SEAL (BANGALORE)

Job descsription

• To do the Dry Gas Seal service activities (Strip, Inspect, Assemble & Test) of refurbishment at Bangalore Service Centre
• Ensure the stock requirements, Test Cell, planning of components for gas seal refurbishment.
• Tracking of Refurbishment activity in SAP with respect to receipt of seal, refurbishment, invoice and dispatch complete activity.
• Customer facing during witness inspections and testing of Dry Gas Seal Refurbishment
• To Generate and Look after Gas seal sales activities of south region.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintaining the call frequency with the customer.
• Achieve sales and order booking targets set for the region allocated.
• Building relationship with the customer by maintaining high ethical standards.
• Maintain the existing installed base and generate conversion business.
• Focus on new products.
• Generating the quotation through SAP installed and follow up with the customer for the order.
• Booking the order and liaising with the Sale Support Bangalore to ensure the customer request date for the delivery.
• Support finance for any issues related to payment, collection of statutory forms.
• Will have to cater Seals services / Maintenance to customer.
• Some Knowledge/Experience in service filed.

The Individual

• BE in Mechanical / Production with 8-12 years of experience.
• Minimum 6-8 years in centrifugal gas compressor industry
• At least 2 -3 years in servicing of Centrifugal Gas Compressor & remaining in Sales of Spares/ Compressor as capital equipment
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good technical knowledge
