Purpose
- Acts as Project Leader within the Purchasing Department as part of the Customer Project Core Team member until project closure.
- Manage the APQP readiness of all Bill of Material (BOM) for projects with internal and external suppliers.
- Ensure the delivery of components on time, on quality, and on cost until PPAP validation.
Key Accountabilities & Key Activities
Lead Supplier Project
- Ensure Suppliers Project Risk Assessment (SPRA) is done for full BOM, according to internal procedures.
- Lead according to risk level defined by SPRA all resources involved in the organization
- Coordinate all the functions involved in APQP supplier management
- Manage supplier concessions before PPAP validation and related recovery plans
- Manage changes within the projects or in some cases of serial life in his/her assigned perimeter
- Follow-up Capital Approval Template (CAT) BOM costs and supplier tooling costs, upon Project Manager request
- Synthesize and explain material costs evolutions for CAT Updates
- Prepare and launch CAPEX Approval for Supplier Tooling
- Ensure project-driven deliverables according to standards
- Deliver parts (prototypes – off tools – off tools/off process – PPAP parts) until PPAP validation
- Ensure the completeness of the internal and supplier documentation of the project according to APQP standard
- Ensure communication between supplier and the organization
- Together with the Project Manager or customer-dedicated resources, communicate to the customer the status of components readiness when required
- Participate to customer visits at the suppliers with Customer Line resources
- Alert in case of deviation according to internal rules
- Represent the project at supplier and supplier internally for the project

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in quality /R&D/manufacturing process with a project management experience
