Job description
- Payment certification of vendors including a check on all required documentation such as quantity/measurement checks, quality documents, test certificates, and complacence to all contractual terms.
- Follow up with finance for timely payment.
- Coordinate with HR for clearance of Labour law compliance by the contractors. Ensure payment of Building cess by the contractor.
- Manage Contracts/agreements and work orders during execution including tracking of changes/ variation and delays or extension of time in coordination with Site execution team / Project Manager.
- Certification of payment as per contract
- On-time payment to the vendor
- Compliance with Labour law.
- MIS Reporting, Track Sheets
- Budget tracking updating of budget against actual expenditure and notifying concerns team.
- Coordinate with finance and SAP team to ensure all PO/WO/ and agreements are in place
- Project/procurement completion within the approved budget.
- Contract Management of all Agreements including communications with another party, assist HOD in dispute resolution mechanism, Change Management (Variations), claim management (both additional time and cost) and timely MIS to Management etc. for;
- Draft and negotiate contracts/ agreements with the vendors to ensure clearance from HOD and Legal.
- Provide a contract risk matrix.
- Closure of contracts
- Monitor and ensure systematic document control mechanism

- External – Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day to day work
- Logistics and custom clearing consultants. Tax consults. Design Consultants.
- Internal – Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day to day work
- Client/ User departments in terms of understanding needs and priorities and developing business alignment with procurement processes.
- Group Procurement function in terms of aligning to the overall procurement architecture, knowledge management across procurement units in the group in terms of best practice sharing.
- Coordinating with PMT on the progress of the Work, With commercial and operation team on the Budget related issue and Business requirement Support. F&A on the payments of the vendors.
- Finance, Legal and Indirect tax team for budgeting, tax plan, clarity on taxation, savings on tax, drafting contract/ agreement, Contract management, payment process and closure of contract etc.
Education Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering – Civil / Electrical / Mechanical
- Minimum 6-8 years’ relevant experience along with Auto-cad, MS Office and Contract management knowledge
- Should have handled multiple small projects in parallel.
- Should have exposure to Large Hotel Projects or Malls or Airport and structural turnkey projects
