The production planner is responsible for enabling the production activity by planning of manpower and material, job allocation, shift scheduling , fixture management, WIP management

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Preparing loading plan using different machinery setup & operator skills
• Coordinating with concerned departments to conduct various cross functional activities
• Preparing planning tools to ease router release & line loading
• Assist PTL for raw material delivery to shop floor and moving components through required processes till converting into finished products
• Coordinate with OSP supplier & shopfloor to ensure timely completion of job orders
• Actively support EHS programs in the plant

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Over 2.5 Years of experience in the Aviation Fabrication industry
• First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of material flow from raw material state to Finished goods, warehousing process
• Knowledge in MS office; Oracle system is a must
• Sound operating knowledge of ERP systems-Oracle, experience in releasing of router, work order & move order is a must
• Well Versed with the planning process for Finished goods & child parts
• Having knowledge of using nesting software or nesting principle for optimizing utilization of raw Tube
• Sound knowledge of Lead time & its impact on different levels of BOM
• Computer operating knowledge: MS office-Word/excel
