Position – Associate Manager

Job description

  • Co-ordinate and supervise Wind turbine Assembly during production, Overhauling, and Refurbishment of wind energy converters (WEC) during O&M.
  • Supervision of wind turbine’s erection /de-erection activities in case of major break down of turbine during O&M.
  • Reading and understanding assembly drawings to find out bottlenecks in the assembly process.
  • Creating RCA for major WTG components in coordination with OEM.
  • Preparing Refurbishment & Overhauling Costing of wind turbines.
  • Determine Project Schedule and Estimate activity duration of major breakdowns.
  • Material Planning and Inventory Management of raw materials, tools & consumables.
  • Conditional monitoring of wind turbines (Oil/Grease sample analysis, Endoscopy, Vibration analysis )
  • Monitor preventive maintenance of wind turbines and educate team for Preventive & Corrective Maintenance of Wind turbines to ensure quality maintenance.
  • To conduct an annual technical audit and health assessment of wind turbines.
  • To prepare training manual and conduct refresher training.
  • To prepare technical work instruction and protocols for wind turbines.
  • To Provide technical suggestions to OEM for necessary corrections and changes to improve the performance of the turbine.
  • Exposure to Advanced MS Excel with basic knowledge in Statistics, Quantitative Analytics.
  • Performance analysis of the wind turbines through its power curve monitoring (using SCADA).
  • Identifying and raising technical issues at a common platform for meeting correct solutions.

  • Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE/B. Tech (Mechanical)
  • Experiences: 6 – 12 Years

  • Monitor timely implementation of risk mitigation measures and develop opportunities within the department.
  • Selection of QA and FQA Engineers.
  • Assigning Job responsibility to all QA Engineers.
  • Reviewing the performance of QA & FQA Engineers.
  • Providing technical guidance to QA & FQA team members.
  • Identifying the training needs of the QA & FQA team and deputing them to training programs.
  • Plan & Organize Quality Audit of all sites and Store as and when required.
  • Technical Guidance and coaching to all Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil team members of the QA and FQA group.
  • Approval of Suppliers and Sub-Suppliers where relevant.
  • Approve MIS to be presented to the Top Management.
  • Approval of Quality requirements for various equipment and packages
  • Decision-making is related to strategic issues involving both internal and external
  • interested parties.
  • Disposal of nonconformities in consultation with Supplier / Contractor and Site-Head.
  • Monitoring the annual Quality Budget

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech- Electrical/ Mech
Experiences: 20 to 25 Years
