Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement analysis and design of system/subsystem components/assemblies for next-generation sustainable engine initiatives while following business and product standards.
  • Basic knowledge of the main business factors, with application to one’s own job. a good awareness of how one’s own work and that of their team interact with other teams and benefit the region
  • Reviews with peers and experts, the Chief Engineers Office, and the Systems organisation are supported.
  • Bring forward fresh ideas and aggressively safeguard GE’s competitive edge by submitting IP
  • Make ensuring that technical data is properly documented in accordance with engineering rules and procedures.
  • Possessing strong interpersonal skills and the adaptability to work on a wide range of issues and initiatives that interest GE
  • Take part in teams that are tasked with tackling particular organisational tasks.
  • Continuous learning and a continuing desire to enhance tools and procedures
  • Contribute to/promote a culture of inclusion & diversity

Required Qualifications

  • competence in mechanical design and analysis of aviation engine models for at least two years
  • Having a postgraduate degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and strong academic credentials
  • thorough knowledge of the principles of mechanical engineering
  • use of HYPER MESH, Unigraphics, and ANSYS software expertise
  • strong communication abilities both in writing and speaking
  • the capacity to adhere to strict deadlines and obligations

Desired Characteristics

  • exposure to FAA guidelines and the aerospace sector
  • exposure to the tools and methods of Design For Six Sigma and LEAN
  • strong communication and leadership abilities
