Position – Materials Analyst

Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitors the monthly delivery level and ensures it is in accordance with the agreed objective in the SIOP process;
- Ensures the completion of daily and weekly delivery plan for own customer portfolio;
- Works with the production and logistics dept to ensure on-time delivery to customers;
- Measures and analyzes the daily delivery performance, offers solutions to improve it.
- Develops the relationship with customers, measures the satisfaction level (NPS) and defines the action plan to improve it.
- Follows the delayed deliveries level.
- Optimizes special transports to customers.
- Optimizes the FGI level (finished goods inventory) and ensures its harmonization with the agreed objective in the SIOP process;
- Follows and reports the customer delivery performance indicator for own customer portfolio.
- Defines and implement actions to improve the customer delivery anticipation accuracy indicator (SFA MAPE BIAS).
- Checks the weekly customer demand, ensures that it is in accordance with the sold capacity and informs the direct manager any outstanding order.
- Defines and implements actions for improving the customer delivery performance indicator for own customer portfolio. (OTTR);
- Daily attendance to tier meetings and ensures completion of required performance.
- Establishes weekly production schedule according to SIOP and based on the system data, on data from vendor schedulers and of available production capacity.
- Creates production orders that will be taken over by production planners to be transmitted to Production and Warehouse dept.;
- Ensures support for NPI.
- Daily checks the completion of production schedule by tracking production orders as far as components, warehouse preparations, production, and customer delivery are concerned;
- Weekly attendance to production planning meetings and ensures all necessary data is available;
- Knows and works with specific planning instruments: MPS, MRP.
- Optimizes the monthly production level and ensures this is compliant with the agreed objective in the SIOP process;
- Daily attendance to the logistic meetings;
- Operates in SAP according with existing procedures;
- Monthly attendance to SIOP meeting;
- Acts in accordance with company behavioral attributes and reaches the performance goals set by manager through PMS
- Uses LSW in their daily activities and quarterly reviews the content.
- Contributes actively to continuously improve plant performance: consistently identifies opportunities to eliminate losses and proposes solutions for the improvement of their own activities and of the plant.
- Proposes the number of ideas Kaizen / month in accordance with the objectives of the plant.
- Attends all meetings at which their function is required (daily meetings at 1,2,3 or 4 level, as appropriate or weekly / monthly, etc. meetings)
- Identifies improvement opportunities for internal processes and finds solutions through Six Sigma instruments.
- Carries out other tasks from the higher hierarchical levels.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
# Preferably, SAP PP & MM , ERP knowledge. Ability to network, Good Analytical skills and a team player
# Core Green Belt Certified (Preferred)
# Good people management skills
# Excellent leadership skills with experience of managing people
# Self learner and driver cross functionally.
# Excellent verbal & written communication skills
# Good interpersonal skills with the ability to gain cooperation & commitment from peers, superiors and reportees

Experience and Education Required:
# Engineering Graduate – BE/B Tech, Mechanical / Production engineering is must.
# 4 to 6 years of previous experience in SCM

Roles and Responsibilities:
# Responsible to manage project end to end from ISC perspective and adherence to all project deliverables, like timeline, productivity and cost requirements.
# Understanding project and customer requirements, coordinating with Program Management team and Technical team in managing smooth Homologation, ODT, PPAP and SOP.
# As a project leader, drives the project at every step to make sure timelines are met and the deliverables.
# Responsible for all the decisions taken for the project execution in terms of technical and timeline requirements.
# Leads the project NPI meeting and drives to close all open issues on time
# Liaison with technical team and supplier in resolving tooling related or machine related issues.
# Responsible for the training of technical teams on the new technologies.
# Responsible for adherence to all the GEM, safety and environmental rules related to the project.
# Assure the continuous improvement in his area by using Kaizen, RCA and Gemba.
# Responsible to execute project HS & E risk assessment and define actions
# Drive the Escalation Process and quick problem resolution
# Responsible for recognition of good work of employees by proper nominations for R & R
Skills and Knowledge Required:
# Has the ability Influence, motivate and drive cross functional teams.
# Has good analytical skills, ability to quickly understand and identify issues and drive quick resolution.
# Knowledge and hands on with program management tools.
# Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the program plan and governance arrangements
# Excellent oral and written communication skills with meticulous follow up and reporting capabilities.
# Ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams.
# Managing the program budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the program progresses.
# Manufacturing process know how with Project management skills to track drive actions as per timeline.
# Hands on knowledge about Siemens PLC (S7 – 300, 1200, 1500) programming and troubleshooting can be an added advantage.
# Ability to use 3D tools like Solid Edge or equivalent to be able to complete tooling accessibility study on the product and tooling 3Ds.
# Understands CSR and able to incorporate them in the project.
# Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise
Experience and Education Required:
# University degree, BE/B Tech, Mechanical / Automobile / IE is must
# 6-8 or more years of previous experience in manufacturing in a similar role having automotive program management background
# Experience of working in Cross Functional team and influencing teams
