Job Summary

Junior Engineer – GBS Component Engineering will be based in Chennai.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

• Collecting specifications for all the electrical & electronics components
• Creating and maintaining component data base
• Identifying Manufacturing Part Number (MPN) for the Specifications given by the design team
• Identifying alternate parts and manufacturers
• Collecting and reviewing environmental compliance declaration from the supplier
• Good knowledge in different compliances like RoHS, REACh, Full Material Content Declaration, etc
• Collecting and analyzing restricted substances % in all the components

Here is some of what you will need (required)

• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components
• Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.
• Working Knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Excel, MS Word)
• Good team player

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

• Minimum 0- 2 years of experience as a in a Manufacturing set up, preferably in EMS industry.
• B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering / EEE / Mechanical.
