Position Summary – Purpose and Objectives of the Role
Provides technical support in the manufacturing processes and support in enhancement of quality improvement standards for Essilor and its business partners. This job will involve travel and must be willing to travel
Main Focus and Key Areas of Responsibilities
Responsible for the following business / functional activities of India business unit: Validate and setup manufacturing processes [lens] for all India labs both for Essilor as well as group companiesEnable projects coordination with various team by undertaking validation of processes to be launched and implementedMonitoring & Tracking, reviewing the progress of an incident and keeping the customer informed.Escalating High Priority Issues to Concerned Team and assisting them.Managing database using Analytical tools with respect to Quality processes & improvement standards.Responsible for implementing ISO 13485 quality standards and Quality Management Systems [QMS] in South Asia.Enable business improvement by giving accurate data analytics on surfacing and process techniquesExtend technical support and quality supportImpart training on new standards & QMS to stakeholders/employeesWork closely with Quality team based in HO
Candidate Profile
Knowledge / Experience
Divisional or BU Experience
Operated as Analystof one or more of the following BUs:Must have knowledge in the manufacturing processes & Quality standards & improvements as per ISO 13485Minimum 4 years of experience in handling processes and implementing Quality standards & improvements
Experience / Track Record
Total 4 years of experience of which 2 years of relevant work experience in QMS and processesPreferred if the person has worked in setting up QMS & processes
Industries Experience
One or more of the following:Medical deviceFMCGLens Industry / Electronic industry
Geographical Experience
Must have worked in a MNC
Management Experience
4-5 years
Qualifications
Education / Qualification / Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Industrial Production/ Electrical Engineering
Language
Proficiency in English and local language. Multilingual will be advantage.
