Job Description
- Critical systems: HVAC, Water systems (Generation and distribution), Chillers, air compressors, N2 generation system and all utility generation systems.
- In depth knowledge of URS preparation for all said systems
- Should be aware of various OEE tools & techniques for evaluation / optimisation of existing system.
- Aware of various new technologies in the market / market trends
- Experience utility equipment / Packages selection like, briquet /FO/NG fired boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, vacuum system, nitrogen, system, HVAC & Chillers various pumps and process piping.
- Should involve in utility load calculation & its requirement, aware of various energy conservation tools and techniques.
- Strong Projects and Engineering background.
- Having experience in maintaining documentation as per ISO, cGMP, USFDA, WHO, MHRA, OHSAS 18001 standards.
- Proficient in reading PFD, P&ID, Piping, Isometric & utilities layout drawing.
- Reduction in power costs by consolidating utilities generation system & reduction the losses across generation, distribution, consumption and return.
- Responsible for the detail design reviews, RFQ, Pre-bid & Post bid technical clarification, inter coordination with engineering consultants, statutory bodies for compliance and execution of utilities tender packages.
- Lead and drive the team to successful completion of the Transformation projects.
- Meet the voice of customer and business.
- Identify areas of improvement via Global benchmarking.
- Communicate across the region, foster exchange in information and best practices as per cGMP.
- Comply with various regulatory requirements pertaining to utility project activities and Risk analysis.
- Ensuring that site operations are carried out smoothly with erection, commissioning & procurement operations.
- Perform daily routine inspection/Monitoring of all Engineering and Utilities equipment’s in the site.
- Hands on experience in utilities as Water system (RO, WFI), Boilers / Chillers / Cooling Towers / Air Compressors / Nitrogen Plant / HVAC & BMS.
- Manage/ Control Manpower and allotting jobs to contract people in shift & on priority.
- Generating of Monthly reports like (Utility consumptions, Service Maintenance, Break downs etc.)
- Responsible for verification of planned/ Scheduled and implementation of Preventive Maintenance / Calibration Program of all equipment’s and Instruments including Building Maintenance issues.
- Responsible for verification of review of Daily Log sheets, PMP check lists, Calibration certificates, housekeeping, Qualification documents, internal audit compliances, external audit documents.
- Raise /Involve, participate in closing the required QMS specific docs. Like Incidents/ Change control/ Deviations/ investigations etc.
- Review/ modify/ simplify of SOPs and Protocols of Engineering/Other dept. SOPs time to time as per the plant equipment requirements.
- Preparation of revenue budget and capex budget for the respective area and same need to submit to HOD.
- Ensure maximum availability of equipment’s at optimum performance level.
- To ensure the smooth operation of utilities.
- Releasing the work order related to maintenance dept.
- Verifying the GRNs and Certifying the bills.
- Engineering (utility) material follow up with purchase department
- Ensuring qualification activities of the utility equipment’s
- Coordination in energy auditing and energy conversation.
- Preparing SOPs for new equipment and revision of the old one.
- Involving in the preparation of preventive checklist, preventive schedules, calibration. schedules, equipment matrix and Master list of equipment and instruments.
- Maintain Safety standards.
- Involved in utility load calculation and energy conservation tool and techniques.
- Proficient in reading PFD, P&ID, Piping, Isometric & utilities layout drawing.
