The role for the selected intern will be for Innovation Centre in India and would work for any of the sectors i.e. Industrial Sector or Electrical Sector, within the product groups like Vehicle, Aerospace, eMobility & Electrical or within the center of excellences namely Modelling & Simulation, Embedded System, Corporate Research & Technology or Safety Reliability & Sustainability domain.

Job Responsibilities

The intern would be offered projects which challenge their intellectual might, problem-solving ability, and being agile to learn & deliver solutions to new technology. In short, a 2 to 6 month of engagement would stay with them for long. Based on the business requirements and performance of the intern we would offer them preplacement interviews for a career with Eaton.

Projects for the intern will be: Define Safety recall data analysis process for all Industrial and Electrical sector products.

Description: Safety is regulated by different standards in different business like in Electrical its regulated by IEC61511, in automotive by ISO26262. Be it electrical or automotive, based on the standards we need to understand safety recall risk in terms of severity, probability and as per applicable different industry standards. Study all of the safety standards which are applicable to Eaton Products and create Safety recall data analysis process which can be documented in form of REAP or internal white paper

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Preferred: BE/B Tech/M tech/Dual Degree/MS.
