Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A mechanical Engineer leads a mechanical projects team and he/she is responsible for technical solutions and leading and coordinating of work within dedicated project mechanical team. He/she is responsible for delivering a robust, proven and reliable mechanical solutions in required time, quality and cost.
- Reports to Application Leader in term of tasks based on assignment into particular project.
- Leads all PD tasks related to successful Job1 and profitable product in terms of mechanical engineering.
- Develops concepts for innovative products with regard to feasibility, cost, lifespan customer and legal requirements.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):
- University degree in mechanical engineering
- MS Office, Windows – good
- CAD (CATIA, NX) – good
- GD&T – good
- DFMEA – good
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):
- More than 4 years of experience in mechanical design, plastic injection technology, and tool design knowledge
experience in automotive exterior lighting is an advantage
experience with the technical leading of small projects is an advantage

Position – CAD Methodologies Engineer
Company – Varroc Lighting
Location – Pune, Maharashtra, IN
Job description
RESPONSIBILITES:
- work Closely with Global Core Engineering Team for deployment of CAD Processes and Methodologies for controlling 3D & 2D documentation in the organization.
- Should be able to perform the release & control of documentation (CAD Data) in Teamcenter and GBC tool with adherence to defined CAD Standards for Varroc.
- Should be able to Co-ordinate working closely with Global PD Teams.
- Conduct Product Documentation control training for PD engineers for Europe, India & North America.
- Review and control against VLS standards CAD drawings (2D and 3D) per defined processes & meet quality standards.
- Should have excellent Teamcenter skills for working on CATIA V5 Assemblies/Parts.
- Should have practical knowledge of Teamcenter processes and workflows and if needed, should be able to define them for EIT to execute and release in the system.
- Proven track record for supporting users with CATIAV5 issues in coherence with PDM/PLM systems like Teamcenter.
- Should have hands-on knowledge of working with JTs via VIS Mockup & Jt2Go.
- Should have good CAD Skills for working on Assemblies/Parts
- Should be aware of FTA (Functional Tolerancing & Annotations) module in CATIAV5 for 3D drawing checks.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):
- post Diploma or a degree in Mechanical Engineering
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):
- 3-5 Years CAD/CAM post Diploma or a degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2-5 Years’ Experience in PDM/PLM Support mainly Teamcenter
- Good knowledge of CATIAV5
- Good knowledge of Change Management
