Position – Manager – Customer Services – Field Quality Management & Technical Service Support
Location – Chennai, Tamil Nadu


  • Job purpose: Steer and support Field Quality team for Power Train & Entire vehicle aggregates pertaining to BSVI range of trucks (HDT & MDT) for field quality concerns & to establish BSVI model across pan India.
  • Roles and Responsibilities: Provide support to the Field team on Power train & Entire vehicle aggregates, specific to BSVI range of vehicles on field quality concern & faster issue resolution.


  1. Product Quality Management:
    • Process Product Concern Report & Technical pre-approval raised by Field team
    • Carry out product quality analysis and contribute with effective feedback
    • Expertise in Power train aggregates (Engine/Transmission/Axles etc)
  2. Field Quality Management & Issue Resolution
    • Field Quality concern analysis for faster issue resolution
    • Flying doctor support – Participate in Joint investigations as CFT
    • Provide Technical clarifications on product issues to the wholesale and retail team
    • New product/aggregate monitoring & reporting to management
    • Preparation and release of field communication on Technical topics
    • Warranty claim analysis on both (Technical and cost aspects)
    • Organize Product Quality Workshops
  3. Technological Innovation:
    • BSVI – Develop used cases for Telematics / CAN Signals to proactively alert customers
    • Assist field team to resolve quality concerns with use of technology


Required Skills:

  • Education and Experience: BE Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 6 to 7 years of relevant experience in the automotive CV industry. Candidates having knowledge of automotive electronics would be preferred. Should be highly proficient in MS Office in the usage of MS Excel / Powerpoint.

  • Networking skills (to have an interface with dealer and Field team to provide faster support)
