Position – Design & Development manager
Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals
Locations – Mumbai, Maharashtra
Exp – 12 to 15 years

Qualification – Bachelor /master’s in mechanical engineering / Diploma/post-diploma in tool and Die development

Responsible for Industrialization deliverables for NPI projects
Analyze & calculate the capacity requirement for manufacturing capacity for foundry patterns, molds, and tools, Assy fixtures, testing fixture, layout
Organize and participate in DFMEA/PFMEA and implement the outcome of the same in the Design/manufacturing.
Specify the mold, press tools, ADC tools specifications and lead the development including the vendors & cost
Develop parts till pre-pilot and pilot assy.
Initial costing of the parts and optimizations
Process design and development which include the Jig. Fixture requirements, testing machine requirements, etc
Define the process parameter’s and validate the parameters
Handover the NPI project for Regular Manufacturing.
