Position – Hardware-Designer
Lam Research
Exp. – 2 to 7 years
Location – Bengaluru

Concept design, OEM Components selection, and development of mechanical parts and assemblies with minimal guidance.
Create/ Modify CAD models and Understand the impact of top-level structure Create and modify engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process
Interacts with India and US-based Mechanical Engineering Managers of different Lam Product Groups regarding Design activities
Support & Participate in Design review to get buy-in from all cross-functional teams to Investigate and Implement corrective actions for medium Problem Reports

Years of experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with B.E/B.Tech B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing)
Basic knowledge of the design of Sheetmetal parts, machine components, etc.
Basic knowledge on Design Selection of OEM Mechanical Component PEMs, Weld Fittings, other fasteners, etc.
Knowledge of Manufacturing process Sheetmetal Designs, Machining, and Welding, etc Knowledge in ANSI/ASME standards Basic understanding in Problem solving and decision-making skills.
Knowledgeable in 3D Modelling, Assembly, and Detailing using Creo (Pro-E) or any CAD packages.
Knowledgeable in reading, understanding, and creating Mechanical Drawings & Specifications, Welding symbols, and GD&T. Basic knowledge in PLM & PDM Software (Preferred Teamcenter and SAP) Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Process Knowledge on Semiconductor equipment and its subsystems Knowledge in reading Schematic diagrams (P&IDs)
