Discipline Description

Responsible for production operations, scheduling and personnel. Manages and supervises the day to day work of manufacturing production disciplines for a shift, including multiple product lines in the Actuation India Operation.

Responsibilities

1.Manages team of non-exempt DL and IDL employees, to meet customer demand and achieve 100% OTIF.

2.Sets shift goals and Plans and schedules, direct and indirect labor workflow and organize teams to meet production schedules.

3.Leads Tier1, Ensure teams’ conformance to organization policies and procedures. Ensures meeting regulatory requirements.

4.Ensures all quality related items for all cells are complete and achieve FPY goals and targets.

5.Plans and executes scheduling for multiple cells to meet production schedules. Train new hires (operator level).

6.Supervises activities for materials and logistics problem resolution for multiple cells to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.

7.Manages cell performance and productivity for multiple cells or a complex cell to maximize productivity.

8.Interfaces with Production Manager to understand customer needs Ensure storage, material handling and FOD control in manufacturing area. Ensure that the Production documents are properly stored and retrieved. Ensures minimum deviation from Standard work and practices RTPR.

Qualification

1.Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics with minimum 4 years of experience

2.Experience in semi-automated Shop floor Management of Electro Mechanical product, managing medium to large team

3.For internal candidates, ACE Associate mandatory. Knowledge on providing effective root cause corrective action and analysis and making process capability study and process study to analyze failures.

4.Proficiency in English, Kannada, Hindi and experience of dealing with unionized non-exempt employees. Able to communicate and ensure strict adherence of company policies, procedures and rules

5.Team building, Driving results and Interpersonal Skills

6.Preference would be given to candidates having experience in Hydraulic and Electronic Products

Key Soft Skills:

1.Knowledge on SAP production module

2.Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word

3.Six Sigma Green Belt is Preferred
