Description of position: Sizing Engineer
Supervisor: Head – Sizing
Main task of position:
- Sizing of compressor against Enq / after receipt of order
- Documentation towards sizing & studies
- Carry out pulsation & vibration studies as per plan
- Interact / co-ordinate with Principal in Switzerland
- Maintain & adhere QMS & procedures
- Support to Customer Support Service dept (as & when required)
Education / Experience:
- BE/B. Tech. with Mechanical Engineering with min. 2-5 years of experience
- Knowledge of vibration and noise control,
- Exposure to International standard like API, ASME, ASTM, DIN
- Fundamental knowledge of compressors, thermodynamics, sizing of compressors,
Language skills:
- English
- Language skill in German would be added advantage
Special requirements:
- Accuracy, innovativeness
- On time Delivery
- Coordination with Swiss counterparts and other departments
Indicators (KPI’s):
- As per defined policy
- This role demands sound understanding of compressor and its application
- Sizing being a continuous process, enquiry processing takes time and hence require patience, focused approach & innovative attitude
- Interface with counterparts in Swiss parent company and various departments to cater customer / market requirements
