Job Description

  • Materials characterization of fuel injection systems and Exhaust gas treatment
  • Heat treatment support for power train components
  • Fatigue testing and Analysis for metals for power train components
  • Support for Product Development, Cost reduction & Localisation projects
  • Failure investigations of field, endurance and fatigue tested components
  • Laboratory management system as per ISO 17025
  • Analysis of Fatigue Strength of Metals for Electric / Diesel / Gasoline system components
  • Estimation of Fatigue Life of DS-FIE components based on load data


  • B.E. / B. Tech in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering with approximately 3-5 experience in automotive industry

Additional Information

  • Hands on Experience in analytical tools like, SEM, microscope,
  • Experience in laboratory managment system software
  • Understanding of Electric / Diesel / Gasoline system components
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Good knowledge with fatigue testing experimental, numerical and analytical topics
  • Hands-on experience on Data Acquisition tools
  • Exposure to product development processes
  • In-depth knowledge on Mathematics and Statistics
  • Experience with testing, failure analysis and metallurgical properties of metals.
  • Ability to interact with cross functional teams during the design, development and manufacturing phase
  • Ability to interact with suppliers and clarify design & manufacturability questions related to proto & component build
