Position – Engineering drawings and document support

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create, modify and maintain P&ID drawings using proper drafting standards and follows Management of Change (MOC) information (MOC redline/comments)
• Apply client Engineering Standards as part of day-to-day technical support of assignments
• Interpret Engineering mark-ups and accurately make drawing corrections
• Maintain cooperative, efficient, and good team working environment
• Communicate, both verbally and in written form in a professional manner
• Read and fully understand P&ID’s and other documents which describe the scope of work
• With minimal supervision updates simple to complex Oil and Gas engineering Drawings like P&ID’s , Isometrics, Layouts, SLD’s, WD’s etc.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Demonstrates proficient skills in CAD utilizing client’s current version of AutoCad and Document Management System
• Knowledge of 3D tools in piping is added advantage
• Sound knowledge of advanced excel
• Knowing VBA will be added advantage
• Demonstrates knowledge of Piping symbology
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of P&ID’s, One-Lines, Instrument Loop Diagrams and Schematics
• Proficiently identify field; mechanical equipment, electrical, instrumentation and piping components

Desired Skills:

• Ability to create/modify non-P&ID drawings such as; mechanical, , plot plans , Isometrics, SLD’s ,WD’s etc and overall general drafting
• Knowledge of engineering documentation process like, workflow management, Attribute updates, Bulk upload etc.
• Good knowledge on advanced excel and skills to develop productive approaches
